Common name: Needle-leaved mountain coprosma
Botanical name (authority): Coprosma rugosa Cheeseman
Needle-leaved mountain coprosma (Coprosma rugosa) is a shrub with stiff, needle-like leaves and small inconspicuous flowers; branches often interweaving to form dense clumps.
It grows well in well-drained soils in montane or subalpine areas and tolerates exposure.
